Flight Programme

Please note:

The flight field is located on Avinguda Catalunya (former N-II road). Coordinates: 41.585672, 1.627397. For safety reasons, drones may not be flown over the flight field during the Festival without prior authorization from the organization.

Flights take place early in the morning (6:30 am) and late in the afternoon (7:30 pm), as these are the times of day when weather conditions (especially wind) are most favorable and stable for flying. In the event of strong winds or sudden weather changes, flights may be cancelled for safety reasons. Depending on wind direction and strength, launches may also be relocated to another area of the city with better conditions. Please follow the festival’s social media channels (@ebf_igualada), where updates and real-time information about any changes will be provided.

The City Flight: On Friday morning, the City Flight will take place, with different balloons launching from squares and public spaces across the city. You may choose to watch the balloon launches from these locations, or from one of the many scenic viewpoints overlooking the Conca basin.
